Richard always loved life on the farm. He often reminisced about driving the tractor before his feet could even reach the pedals. Throughout his adult years he was active in church, farming organizations and the S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. barbershop chorus. Richard enjoyed flying small aircraft. He was a substitute teacher in various public schools around the area. Richard had a tremendous work ethic that matched the love he had for his fellow man.
