     Charles Albert Landon was born on 5 December 1850 at Burford, Brant, Ontario, son of William Landon and Sarah Cudney.3,4,1,2
     His family crossed the St. Clair River from Sarnia to Port Huron on the ice with an oxen and sleigh team.3

Charles Albert Landon married Elizabeth Redmond, daughter of John Wesley Redmond Sr. and Elizabeth Walker, on 15 November 1882 at Marlette Township, Sanilac, Michigan.1,5 Charles Albert Landon and Elizabeth Redmond had three daughters and a son.6 Charles Albert Landon was widowed on 18 May 1889 at Sanilac, Michigan, at age 38.2

Charles Albert Landon married Frances Alice Anderson, daughter of John Anderson and Frances Whiteman, on 11 June 1890 at Marlette, Sanilac, Michigan.7,8 Charles Albert Landon was a farmer in 1900 at Marlette Township.9 He and Frances Alice Anderson had two sons and a daughter.6 Charles Albert Landon filed his Declaration of Intention to naturalize on 9 October 1912 at Michigan; first papers.3 He was naturalized on 9 October 1914 at Sandusky, Sanilac, Michigan, renouncing allegiance to George V, King of Great Britain and Ireland.10

Charles Albert Landon died on 30 June 1928 at Michigan at age 77.2 He was buried on 2 July 1928 at McLeish Cemetery, Marlette Township, Sanilac, Michigan.6
