Rosala Scheuermann married Bernard Schwanekamp, son of Henry Schwanekamp, on 18 September 1876 at Houghton, Houghton, Michigan.4

Rose Schwanekamp died on 22 October 1904 at Superior, Douglas, Wisconsin, at age 47.5,6 She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Superior, Douglas, Wisconsin.7
