Sinclair Hoefling, 1942
     Sinclair George Hoefling was born on 27 November 1915 at Manistee, Manistee, Michigan, son of Phillip George Hoefling and Julia Louise McGowan.1

Sinclair George Hoefling married G. Elaine Duncan on 21 March 1942 at Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.1,2 Sinclair George Hoefling began military service in May 1942 in the US Navy. His boot training was at Great Lakes, Illinois followed by training at the Dearborn navy yard and the Philadelphia navy yard. He mustered out as a Pharmacist's Mate first class.3,4 He and G. Elaine Duncan were divorced.1

Sinclair George Hoefling died on 22 February 1994 at Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, at age 78.1 He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso, Shiawassee, Michigan.1
