This document gives 1870 as birth year, which contradicts his draft record and other census records. However, it is the most contemporary record, and his parents did live in this location in the 1870 census. All other documents suggest a birth date of 13 Dec 1875. The 1870 date is more sensible with a brother born in 1868.
