     Johann (Friedrich) Ludwig Zanzich was born on 30 September 1824 at Ritzerow, Ritzerow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.4,5,6 He was the son of Johann Christian Zanzich and Catharina (Maria) Timmermann.2,3

     Johann Friedrich Ludwig Zanzich married Johanna Sophia Henriette Zanzich, daughter of Adolph (Christoph) Zanzig and Augustina (Christina) Mohr, on 26 June 1855 at Ritzerow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, at age 30.6
     Johann (Friedrich) Ludwig Zanzich died on 6 December 1861 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, at age 37.7
     Ahnentafel/Henry number 00016.0. His baptismal name was Johann Friedrich Ludwig Zanzich.1 At the time of his marriage, Johann (Friedrich) Ludwig Zanzich was a laborer.6 As of 24 October 1856,Johann (Friedrich) Ludwig Zanzich also went by the name of Fritz Zanzig.8

     Fritz Zanzig and Johanna Sophia (Henriette) Zanzich emigrated on 24 October 1856 from Ritzerow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, to to New York via Hamburg on the NordAmerika, then to Wisconsin.8
