     Lee Stewart was born on 25 June 1935 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USAB,G.2 He was the son of Clarence Lee Stewart Jr. and Alma Odrun Henden.1

     Lee Stewart married Loida Huebner, daughter of Gerhard Huebner and Ruth Elizabeth Eleanore Tegeler, on 13 April 1958 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Portage, Columbia, Wisconsin, USAB,G, at age 22.3
     Lee Stewart died on 2 October 2003 at Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado, USAB,G, at age 68.4 He was inurned on 11 October 2003 at Bethel Lutheran Church columbarium, Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado, USAB,G.5
     Lee's attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he had the honor of singing in the world-famous St. Olaf Choir. He had a deep voice that he was told was a "lyric bass."

In high school he played football and was chosen Homecoming King in his junior year. As his queen, he asked Loida Huebner. Several years later they began dating and eventually married. He served in the Army from April 1958 to April 1960, serving at several U.S. bases, including Camp McCoy, Wis. and Fort Riley, Kansas. Following that he worked in radio broadcasting all of his adult life in several cities throughout the U.S. -- Waukesha, Wis; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado.3
     Lee's obituary was published in the Portage Daily Register on 9 October 2003 at Portage, Columbia, Wisconsin, USAB,G.2

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - C. Lee Stewart, age 68, passed away October 2, 2003 at home in Colorado Springs. Lee was a retired Denver and Colorado Springs broadcaster.

Clarence Lee Stewart III was born June 25, 1935 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Clarence and Alma (Henden) Stewart. He was married in 1958 in Portage, Wisconsin to Loida Huebner. Lee and Loida had just celebrated 45 wonderful years of marriage this year. ...

Lee graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, where he sang with the world famous St. Olaf College Choir; served honorably in the Army; had lived in Aurora Colorado from 1968 - 1989; and in Colorado Springs since 1989. He had been a church choir director for many years in Cincinnati, Aurora, and in Colorado Springs; was instrumental in the formation of the Aurora Singers, and served as its director for nine years. Lee worked as the Operations Manager for KOSI in Denver for over 20 years and donated much of his time to promote the Colorado Christian Home "Christmas is for Children" program. He was one of the hosts of American Airlines "Music 'til Dawn" on WLW Radio in Cincinnati, and had also been Program Manager and morning announcer for KRDO Radio in Colorado Springs. ...2
