     Joseph Waldron was a witness "Albert N. Waldron-His maternal grandsire, Joseph Doane, was the son of a Hollander who settled in New York State. His daughter, Rebecca, married Joseph Waldron, whose ancestors had dwelt in New York for several generations. He was born in Cayuga county Jan. 15,1842. His parents shortly afterward removed to Penn. and when he was 11 to Green Lake county, Wisc. On August 14, 1862 he enlisted in Co. C, 32dWisc. Vol. Inf., and served until June 1865. He married Margaret Whitehead on 25 Dec., 1866. He took part in the siege of Atlanta and in Sherman's march to the sea. They have 4 children, May, Rose, Cora, and Leona.2 "
