     Homer Nelson Barber was born on 18 August 1876 at Crystal Lake, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.2,3 He was the son of John A. Barber and Julia Willis.2

     Homer Nelson Barber married Elsie Margaret Hostetler on 25 November 1900 at Dunn County, Wisconsin, USA, at age 24.4,5 Nelson H. Barber and Elsie Margaret Hostetler were presumably divorced in 1924 at Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, USA, when they appeared again on the court docket.6

     Homer Nelson Barber married Genevieve DeVoy on 4 May 1929 at Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, at age 52.7
     Nelson H. Barber died on 2 August 1930 at Montello, Marquette, Wisconsin, USA, at age 53 of chronic myocarditis and toxic goiter.3
     Nelson's obituary was published in The Sheboygan Press on 2 August 1930 at Sheboygan, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.8 He was buried at Greenbush Cemetery, Town of Greenbush, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.3
