     Sophia Margaret Schultz was born on 16 February 1861 at McGregor, Clayton, Iowa, USA.2,5,4 She was the daughter of J. Charles Schultz and Margaret Kratzer.3,4

     Sophia Margaret Schultz married Charles Frank Zanzig, son of Johann (Friedrich) Ludwig Zanzich and Johanna Sophia (Henriette) Zanzich, on 26 September 1882 at McGregor, Clayton, Iowa, at age 21; the marriage license was dated 31 Aug. 1882, witnessed by Charles Kurz.6,2
     Sophia Margaret Schultz died on 19 June 1937 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, at age 76 of chronic glomerulo nephritis (kidney disease.)7 She was buried on 22 June 1937 at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.8,9 Her estate completed probate on 16 November 1943 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.10
     She was a milliner in 1880 at McGregor, Clayton, Iowa.4 Esther Louise Lillge was a practical nurse for her future mother-in-law, Sophia Schultz Zanzig in 1936.11
     Sophia's obituary was published in the Milwaukee Journal on 20 June 1937 at Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.12
