Frederick Hoefling was born in May 1860 at Bavaria, GermanyB,G, son of Frederick Hoefling Sr.2,3 Frederick Hoefling was naturalized on 1 August 1883 at Houghton, Michigan, USAB,G.4
Frederic Hofling married Agnes Scheuermann, daughter of Philip Scheuermann and Agnes Mayer, on 9 October 1883 at Hancock, Houghton, Michigan, USAB,G.1,5,6,7 Frederick Hoefling was a foreman at West Superior Brewing Co. in 1892 at Superior.8 He was a brewer in 1900.9 He was naturalized on 16 October 1900 at Ontonagan, Michigan, USAB,G, renouncing allegiance to the Emperor of Germany.4 He was a carpenter in 1910 at Wauwatosa Township.5 He and Agnes Scheuermann were owned land in the Village of West Milwaukee, purchased by warranty deed, in the First Continuation of Red Brae on 29 September 1920.10 Frederick Hoefling was a carpenter in 1925.11 He was a helper at Prest-O-Lite Co. in 1929 at Omaha.12
Frederick Hoefling died on 20 March 1947 at age 86.13 He was buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USAB,G.13
Frederick Hoefling was brought by the Scheuermanns to be the brewmaster in Milwaukee. He had to spend time in Michigan to qualify his sponsorship in June 2006 at Michigan, USAB,G.14
