Thomas Landon1

M, b. 19 September 1752, d. 10 August 1850
     Thomas Landon was born on 19 September 1752 at Hardwick Township, Morris, New Jersey, USAB,G, son of William Landon and Mercy Orange.1 Thomas Landon and his heirs repeatedly tried to prove service in the Revolution. He claimed to have served fourteen tours of duty, but his claim was denied for lack of documentary evidence. His deposition in 1843 was given when he was 90 years old, and is interesting reading in June 1776 at Sussex, New Jersey, USAB,G.2
