"Percy A. Blount

Age 82, died 2:30 p.m. Saturday. He was born March 24, 1894 in Wahpeton, N. D. and had been an Appleton resident most of his life. He owned and operated the Blount Grocery Store on Wisconsin Ave., Appleton. The survivors include his wife, Clarinda Main Blount; three sons: Percy A. Blount Jr., Appleton; Thomas, Omaha, Nebraska; Glenn, Milwaukee; a brother, Howard, Oshkosh; a sister, Mrs. Floy Jones, Beaverton, Oregon; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Taylor Blount in 1947. The complete funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home with Dr. John E. Felible officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wchmann Funeral Home from 4 until 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the hour of service. A memorial fund has been established for the First Congregational Church."7
