     Rebecca Hartgrove married John R. Barber, son of John Barber and Judith Hall, on 29 December 1831 at Stark County, Ohio, USA, at age 19.4,5,6,7
     Rebecca Hartgrove died on 1 November 1900 at Glenbeulah, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA, at age 88.8,9,10 She was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Plymouth, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.11,12
     Rebecca's obituary was published in the Plymouth Reporter on 8 November 1900 at Plymouth, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.13 Her obituary states
"Rebecca Barber died at the home of her son, James, in this village last Thursday morning, of heart failure, at the age of 88 years. She leaves five children, James of Glenbeulah, William of Butternut, Mrs. Fred Felfe [sic] of Sheboygan, Mrs. M. Burgess of Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. H. Lester of Chicato [sic]. The funeral was held Saturday morning at the house, Rev. Olmsted officiating, interment in the Grant cemetery north of Plymouth."13
