Helena Zanzig was born circa 1834.1,2 She was the daughter of Adolph (Christoph) Zanzig and Augustina (Christina) Mohr.1
Helena Zanzig married Mr. (?) Jensen say 1860 at USA (probably)B,G.1 Compare her and Miene Zanzig; they may be the same person; Helena isn't mentioned in the 1856 passenger record when Christoph, Christina, and the entire family came over. On the other hand, a Miene is, who is never seen again. I surmise that Helena may be Wilhelmine Helene Zanzig, whose records are yet to be found in Germany. In Christoph's will, the children seem to be listed in order of birth; that would put Helena right about at Miene's age, in spite of the estimate of 1834 in the will.3
